Henrik Vejre (HV) holds MSc in Agronomy (1988) PhD in Forest Soil Ecology 1996.  

HV has worked with soil science, landscape ecology, nature management and spatial planning in a number of academic positions at the Roya

l Veterinary and Agricultural University of Denmark and from 2007 University of Copenhagen. HV has a position as professor in Landscape Management at the section of Landscape Architecture and Planning at the Dept. of Geoscience and Natural Resource Management, University of Copenhagen.  

HVs main research interests comprise:

·Green space management in metropolitan cities

·Spatial planning in the agricultural landscape

·Landscape and restoration ecology
