LinShu Liu 博士，，结业于日本京都大学，，随后在美国麻省理工学院（MIT）做博士后事情。1992—2002年以高级科学家、、首席科学家的身份先后在美国加州3家生物科技公司事情。2002年进入美国农业部（USDA）东部研究中心，，现在担当该中心的Leading Scientist。研究偏向主要包括：：：(1)人肠道微生物群落和饮食的相互作用；；(2)生物活性物质的可控递送；；(3)质料和细胞的相互作用；；(4)高分子合成和改性等。
已揭晓偕行评议论文120余篇，，聚会论文200余篇，，授权专利27项，，出书专著8部，，加入撰写专著15章。是塔吉克斯坦农业大学、、华盛顿州立大学和新泽西州立大学兼职教授，，以及塔吉克斯坦科学院外籍院士�；；衩拦┮挡俊癠nsung Hero”奖章（2016）、、美国政府联邦执行委员会 “优异科学成绩”金奖（ 2006、、2013、、2018）和“优异公共服务”铜奖（2013）等声誉。
报告内容简介：：：
The human gut contains a vast number of microorganisms known collectively as the “gut microbiota”. Substances delivered from the human world into the microbial world of the gut can have an impact upon the structure and function of the gut microbiota that, in turn, may have effects on its human host. The seminar presents recent research on the interaction between diet and the gut microbiota conducted by the scientists of the Eastern Regional Research Center, US Department of Agriculture.
